HOTlanta

So after I took these pictures I realized they looked paparatzi-ish... but I can't help snapping random pics of Dan, he's so cute! Not to mention he refuses to let me take pictures any other way :(
Lately, we've been trying to squeeze in all the quality time we can between my school schedule and Dan's crazy work schedule, and we have ended up with some interesting stories. Our most recent adventure was a road trip down to Atlanta, my hometown, to support a friend of mine who is venturing into the stand up comedy world. This trip actually started out with the plan to fly down to ATL and rent a car for the overnight trip... but when we got to the exit for the airport we decided to just keep driving! Both of us were a little burnt out on airport travel, and after not seeing each other for 5 days, the last thing we wanted to do was combat an airport full of overworked, underpaid employees... so we decided to drive the 5 hour trip instead. It was awesome! We turned the radio off and chatted the whole way (I swear Dan did some of the talking too!) about everything and nothing, and held hands :) I realized how much I missed just spending time around him.
Once we got to Erica's house, It was great to introduce Dan to some of my friends from college and just chill... He, of course, fit right in, and everyone loved him :)
Erica's show rocked, and we had lots of fun at the show.
The drive back was just as rejuvenating; we really needed that time to recoup from the last several months of our schedules keeping us apart so much... and I got Dan trapped in a car long enough to talk wedding details ;)
We were so excited to hear the news of Whitney delivering such a beautiful little girl! We ooohd and awwd over the pictures, and started rethinking waiting 5 years for kids... at least I did, lol!
